Incredible Feel at Callaway RAZR X Irons
Golfclubs365.com / 2011-08-30

The Callaway X Series, its signature line products, has made the company become one of the most dominant forces in the golf market for over a decade. Do you have one X Line club? Yes or no, it's all ok, because today we will take one comprehensive review of Callaway RAZR X Irons .

Each standard RAZR X set are made using a new variable face thickness technology, which makes the hitting area thinner as you move away from the center. This feature broadens the sweet spot and maintains ball speed on off-center hits

Of course, the new Razr Technology will be used in this line irons Golf Clubs for Sale and lead the industry into the next generation of iron design by delivering the distance and forgiveness of a wide sole iron while retaining the playability and turf interaction of a thin sole iron.

The center of gravity (CG) in the new Callaway RAZR X Irons is 12% lower and 15% deeper than the X-22, so shots hit lower in the face should fly higher. And because the CG is so low, Callaway designers were able to strengthen the lofts of the RAZR X irons to give you more distance.

The weight shaved from the face, as well as other none-critical areas, has been placed in a new waffle-patterned, 30-gram weight found in the back of the club. The same RAZR weight system can also be found in the new RAZR Tour irons, designed for better players and mid-handicappers.

The Callaway Razr X Irons are designed to give you incredible feel, while allowing you to maintain your distance; they allow for a large amount of forgiveness when you do not get a center hit as well. The technology used to make the Razr irons is the newest and is the technology that is going to lead to a much different type of design in many golf clubs.

I purchased these to have something more forgiving since I was playing Ping I3 blades. Since I don't play as often I decided to buy something that would dampen mishit. I have a personal driving range and I found that my swing fault followed me, go figure :) Anyway, my 1st round was a disaster, but it wasn't the clubs. After the disaster I practiced all week with them, along with a major revision in my setup and shot 73 in my second round with them. So, they were redeemed. One thing I've noticed is that the offset is hidden well in the design of the club. I have never cared for offset, but it's almost invisible in this club. They feel really good in my hands and the thicker sole from the Ping's now seem normal.
