Improving your game can be very tiring and tedious, not to mention frustrating. It's the one sport that offers so much, yet can deliver so little, but, it is without doubt that the most addictive and sometimes the most rewarding too. If you want to be an expert of golf, it is not just enough to join a training course, but also need some excellent golf equipment.
Unlike any other brothers in the big Callway Family, the new born X-22 Irons was improved on the highly successful X-20 Irons, Callway Golf engineers added new features that allow the X-22 Irons to play even better and feel even softer. One of my friends showed me his new X-22 Irons when we were playing golf; I felt love with it at my first sight. Precision Notch Weighting and a new sleeker hosel combine to raise the moment of inertia for better stability and allow the center of gravity to be moved lower and more in line with the center of the face. This generates ideal trajectories and significantly enhances the level of feel. The head shape has been refined with the thinnest possible topline while still using a 360-Degree Undercut Channel and the optimized sole width progression provides better turf interaction.
The Callway X-22 Irons is designed for accomplished golfers who are seeking for premium feel and stability. This generates ideal trajectories and significantly enhances the level of feel. The head shape of X-22 Irons has been refined with the thinnest possible topline. So, if you are accomplished golfers, you will love the X-22 Irons very soon.

I purchased these to have something more forgiving since I was playing Ping I3 blades. Since I don't play as often I decided to buy something that would dampen mishit. I have a personal driving range and I found that my swing fault followed me, go figure :) Anyway, my 1st round was a disaster, but it wasn't the clubs. After the disaster I practiced all week with them, along with a major revision in my setup and shot 73 in my second round with them. So, they were redeemed. One thing I've noticed is that the offset is hidden well in the design of the club. I have never cared for offset, but it's almost invisible in this club. They feel really good in my hands and the thicker sole from the Ping's now seem normal.
