How To Swing A Golf Club Correctly
Golfclubs365.com / 2010-07-30

In this article I'm going to talk about how anybody can learn how to swing a golf club correctly and improve their game!

I started playing golf years ago with my brother. We both got interested in the game after we started regularly going to the driving range! I personally loved hitting my driver and seeing how much distance I could produce from it!

It was fun being able to strike a ball good, and luckily for me I had a good eye and coordination so I quickly picked up my own style of playing and was able to strike the ball pretty good!

I knew my technique wasn't perfect though because I'd only ever taught myself from what felt right when I swung my clubs. It would have been handy if I could have had some professional lessons of the pro, because I'm sure he'd be able to teach me how to swing a golf club correctly.

I did bump into the local pro at the golf driving range a couple of times and he was kind enough to give me a couple of free tips to help me out! – They did help and I started to hit the ball further through better timing, and also gained more accuracy!

I wanted to have lessons from him so that when I started to play properly I would be ahead of the game, and could really progress fast but unfortunately his rate of $40 per hour was far too expensive for me, so I decided to just keep practicing on the driving range and the odd game of golf and pick up tips wherever I could!

My parents realized that I was really starting to enjoy golf so they got me a membership to our local golf club so that I could play anytime I wanted! I loved this and I was very happy that I could play anytime I wanted, I'd just simply have to find somebody to play with!

I ended up playing quite often with my brother and also one of my friends, but I ended up getting frustrated on the real golf courses more than I would on the driving ranges, because my technique and experience seemed to be letting me down!

I figured that because I'd never really had proper training that my golf swing was really lacking some key fundamental technique basics and that with some great information or training I was sure I'd be able to correct it and make it better!

I started browsing the internet in search for some information that could help me out, because I knew that the golf lessons would be too expensive!

After many hours of finding useless information I managed to come across a complete training website which has massively helped me. It's taught me how to swing a golf club correctly, and also some other super cool techniques that the pro's use! Since training hard and using these tips I've managed to drop my handicap lower and improve my game.

I purchased these to have something more forgiving since I was playing Ping I3 blades. Since I don't play as often I decided to buy something that would dampen mishit. I have a personal driving range and I found that my swing fault followed me, go figure :) Anyway, my 1st round was a disaster, but it wasn't the clubs. After the disaster I practiced all week with them, along with a major revision in my setup and shot 73 in my second round with them. So, they were redeemed. One thing I've noticed is that the offset is hidden well in the design of the club. I have never cared for offset, but it's almost invisible in this club. They feel really good in my hands and the thicker sole from the Ping's now seem normal.
