I started playing golf not long ago, and the mizunos mp60 were my first clubs. These are no beginners clubs and in the beggining i really struggled hitting decent golf shots with this clubs since they demand a consistent and decent swing. At the same time, i began to see my friends' game improve a bit faster with their begginers (and really forgiving) clubs and getting away with all kinds of mis-hits.
What appear to be a disatvantage suddently turned in the best advantage I could ever had. At some point everything began to come together. Since these clubs demand a decent and consistent swing and provide excellent feedback in every shot I was able to focus on correcting my mistakes. Every shot gave me feedback on how i was hitting the ball, so I started improving my golf game really fast. And when you hit a good shot with this clubs it is the best buttery feeling you can imagine. Shots are straight, distance is perfect and it feels so good that you just cant wait to hit another shot again. These clubs forced me to play better golf, I am hitting mid 80s now while my friends are stuck in mid 90's. The clubs look great in the bag, they have that sleek mizuno look. They provide excellent feedback and the best shots you will ever hit. Mizuno really did it this time. I purchased these to have something more forgiving since I was playing Ping I3 blades. Since I don't play as often I decided to buy something that would dampen mishit. I have a personal driving range and I found that my swing fault followed me, go figure :) Anyway, my 1st round was a disaster, but it wasn't the clubs. After the disaster I practiced all week with them, along with a major revision in my setup and shot 73 in my second round with them. So, they were redeemed. One thing I've noticed is that the offset is hidden well in the design of the club. I have never cared for offset, but it's almost invisible in this club. They feel really good in my hands and the thicker sole from the Ping's now seem normal.
