The most amazing:Titleist 2010 AP2 Irons
you pretty much had your choices limited to blades for players, chunky cavity backs for higher mid-cappers and aspiring high cappers, and super chunky clubs for beginners and high cappers. If you were a lower mid-capper with a repeatable swing, an ability to work the ball, a desire to become a low-capper/scratch golfer, but not quite ready for blades–you were out of luck. Clubs such as these AP2's, sporting excellent balance, superior accuracy, forged feel, and the latest technology simply weren't around. These clubs change all of that.
Great Workability
Balance is something that is of prime importance to all golfers, but to scratch golfers, a club without balance is absolutely worthless. These clubs have it in great abundance. From slow turning takeaway, to back of the neck follow through, club head awareness is an almost zen-like experience. You will know where that club head is at all times, and this makes working the ball left and right a heck of a lot easier as compared to most other irons currently in the market place.
Customer Service:
Titleist was an absolute pleasure to do business with. Clubs came in only 5 days despite the fact that they were custom fitted; the specs were perfect. Great job Titleist!

technology design(discount golf clubs)
Building upon the high technology design and resounding success of the original AP irons, Titleist introduces the new high performance AP2 irons for avid golfers. The Titleist AP2 are multi-material, dual cavity irons that take the design mission of "Advanced Performance You Can Feel" to new heights. The concept for the original Advanced Performance irons arose as a result of research that indicated serious golfers want performance with great feel, not performance at the expense of feel. The Titleist R&D team's advanced research group has been conducting extensive sound and vibration analysis aimed at reducing the harsh lower frequency vibration that causes poor feel in irons. This research led to combining several technologies and materials in the back cavity of the new AP irons resulting in a new Tuned Feel System to take feel to a new level. The new Tuned Feel System is a co-molded medallion of soft elastomer and aluminum plate. This insert has been specifically designed to improve the sound and feel of each new iron. For the new AP2, a softer, more solid feel is achieved. Other subtle refinements to the new AP2 have created performance gains in feel, sound, and turf interaction.

I purchased these to have something more forgiving since I was playing Ping I3 blades. Since I don't play as often I decided to buy something that would dampen mishit. I have a personal driving range and I found that my swing fault followed me, go figure :) Anyway, my 1st round was a disaster, but it wasn't the clubs. After the disaster I practiced all week with them, along with a major revision in my setup and shot 73 in my second round with them. So, they were redeemed. One thing I've noticed is that the offset is hidden well in the design of the club. I have never cared for offset, but it's almost invisible in this club. They feel really good in my hands and the thicker sole from the Ping's now seem normal.
