The Callaway Diablo Edge Driver are designed to give golfers a distance advantage every time they tee it up. They offer superior face technology, a higher MOI, a deeper CG, better aerodynamics — and it all adds up to the longest, most accurate all-titanium drivers Callaway Golf has ever made.
Callaway's engineers have guaranteed the weight efficiency of the Diablo Edge golf driver by using a four piece, ultra thin titanium construction process with each component made to exacting standards and fused together to precisely distribute the weight. This greater weight efficiency allows the Diablo Edge to offer extra distance and a penetrating ball flight.
Continuing their commitment to using the very latest technology in designing their clubs Callaway have introduced a new Chemically Milled Hyperbolic Cup Face that uses a chemical reduction process to produce extreme precision in clubface thickness. This encourages consistently high ball speeds across the large Callaway Diablo Edge Driver sweet spot.
A new, aerodynamic club head has also been introduced which has helped Callaway reduce drag by up to 8% while a weight chip positioned to the rear of the club head produces a slight draw bias along with Callaway's highest ever moment of inertia.
All these changes work in tandem with the exclusive Aldila Habanero shaft to make the Callaway Diablo Edge Driver one of the most forgiving, consistent and high performing drivers that Callaway have produced.
Finally, if you are a stronger player, you will notice this yourself while demo the Diablo Edge driver, and if need be you can defiantly get an upgraded shaft to keep the ball flight down. For the average golfer however, this driver has the shafts that should be a good fit.

I purchased these to have something more forgiving since I was playing Ping I3 blades. Since I don't play as often I decided to buy something that would dampen mishit. I have a personal driving range and I found that my swing fault followed me, go figure :) Anyway, my 1st round was a disaster, but it wasn't the clubs. After the disaster I practiced all week with them, along with a major revision in my setup and shot 73 in my second round with them. So, they were redeemed. One thing I've noticed is that the offset is hidden well in the design of the club. I have never cared for offset, but it's almost invisible in this club. They feel really good in my hands and the thicker sole from the Ping's now seem normal.
