What do golfers say about Mizuno MX 25 irons

Mizuno MX-25 irons are really sweet, soft clubs, and if you are upgrading from something less appealing, want to try forged clubs for the first time or simply switching brands, you should be pleased. The MX-25 iron delivers a massive sweet area along with the new three dimensional "X" back cavity pad for maximum forgiveness on off-center hits and increased solid feel. Let's see what the golfers say about these irons.

One said, "I bought a set of MX-25 irons recently and am kicking myself for not making the investment earlier. The feeling of a well struck shot is absolutely pure. The distances of each club are predictable and repeatable. The 3i plays so well off the fairway I've parked my 5w. Excellent in every respect."

Another said, "Draws, fades, knockdowns is not a problem with this set. You can't get anything better than a forged, cavity back iron set. Mizuno is known for its quality forging, similar to other forged sets such as Miura, Tourstage, etc."

"I've used these irons for three years now. I'm a golf fanatic and try new equipment any chance I can get. These irons offer the best of both worlds. Great feel and forgiveness you can count on when you don't have your best game. I keep trying new irons but can't find a better overall iron to play. I question any review that speaks of lost distance with these clubs too. They are equal in distance to any midsize iron with the same loft angles. So solid...buy a set if you can find them!"

The Mizuno MX-25 golf iron has super mizuno forging quality; these irons are the puppy's naughty parts. Large face area, great TTshafts, fantastic clubs. They do look a bit strange from the top down from 3-5 due to the protruding cavity but you soon get over that, 6-wedge look great and very inviting behind the ball. They seem to hit a tad higher for me than other irons but that's not a bad thing as they land softer and with British greens sometimes being on the firm side every little helps.

I purchased these to have something more forgiving since I was playing Ping I3 blades. Since I don't play as often I decided to buy something that would dampen mishit. I have a personal driving range and I found that my swing fault followed me, go figure :) Anyway, my 1st round was a disaster, but it wasn't the clubs. After the disaster I practiced all week with them, along with a major revision in my setup and shot 73 in my second round with them. So, they were redeemed. One thing I've noticed is that the offset is hidden well in the design of the club. I have never cared for offset, but it's almost invisible in this club. They feel really good in my hands and the thicker sole from the Ping's now seem normal.
