TaylorMade Burner SuperFast 2 Fairway Wood

Sunday, February 27th, 2011

The TaylorMade Burner Superfast 2.0 Fairway Wood features the same SuperFast technology as the driver, with a lighter, longer shaft, a lighter grip and a larger, more forgiving clubhead. While everything below the hosel has been made lighter, it’s the technology and engineering in the clubhead that provides the most game-improving technology.

A low and deep center of gravity provides more power and a high launch-angle for more carry and distance. Behind the clubface, they’ve enhanced the coefficient of restitution with inverted cone technology adds some spring to the clubface to increase ball speeds at the moment of impact for even more distance. TaylorMade has also included the 2.0 technology, which engineers each club for more control, higher ball flight and an improved sound and feel.

This is definitely a “different” looking fairway wood and at first glance (via pictures) I was not sure what to expect, but in hand, the club looks edgy, modern, sharp, and begging to be hit. The crown of the club features a glossy black paint that is filled with a honeycomb type of pattern in a feint gray color.

Brand new Honma Beres MG803 Irons VS MG802 Irons

Sunday, February 27th, 2011

The Beres series from Honma Golf is manufactured with the athletic (read: better amateur) golfer in mind who wouldn’t mind maximizing the benefits of today’s high-tech clubs. Enter the Beres MG02 irons, a 460cc oversized triangular-shaped club that, despite its size, is not overbearing at address. In fact, quite the contrary: it exudes confidence.

The Beres MG02 irons features an acute angle at the sole, along with a triangular shape crown, which offers rigidity and therefore fights off clubhead twist and off-centre hits. MOI is off the charts with this driver, too, and CG position sees the clubface hug the pill before launching distances which you may have never reached before on the links. The face has a sweet spot18-per-cent larger than the previous model.

Of any club tested and reviewed, the iron comes under the most scrutiny, simply because any low-handicap golfer like myself is quite attached to his time tested and true sticks. However, testing the Honma Beres MG803 Irons was an absolute pleasure.

What do golfers say about Mizuno MX 25 irons

Sunday, February 27th, 2011

Mizuno MX-25 irons are really sweet, soft clubs, and if you are upgrading from something less appealing, want to try forged clubs for the first time or simply switching brands, you should be pleased. The MX-25 iron delivers a massive sweet area along with the new three dimensional “X” back cavity pad for maximum forgiveness on off-center hits and increased solid feel. Let’s see what the golfers say about these irons.

One said, “I bought a set of MX-25 irons recently and am kicking myself for not making the investment earlier. The feeling of a well struck shot is absolutely pure. The distances of each club are predictable and repeatable. The 3i plays so well off the fairway I’ve parked my 5w. Excellent in every respect.”

Another said, “Draws, fades, knockdowns is not a problem with this set. You can’t get anything better than a forged, cavity back iron set. Mizuno is known for its quality forging, similar to other forged sets such as Miura, Tourstage, etc.”

“I’ve used these irons for three years now. I’m a golf fanatic and try new equipment any chance I can get. These irons offer the best of both worlds. Great feel and forgiveness you can count on when you don’t have your best game. I keep trying new irons but can’t find a better overall iron to play. I question any review that speaks of lost distance with these clubs too. They are equal in distance to any midsize iron with the same loft angles. So solid…buy a set if you can find them!”

Which Golf Clubs Is for a Beginner Golfer

Sunday, February 27th, 2011

Hey, I have just started playing the golf around 4 months and have not play on the green yet, but soon I know what is the best taylormade model for me. That is Taylormade R9 Max Irons. It  features a dual head design made for both performance and control.

“It’s definitely been a long couple of years,” said Baddeley, whose return two years ago to his original teacher, Dale Lynch, was the beginning of his road back. “It was worth every bit. I really feel that the last couple of years, the extra work, made it easier today.”

So, Taylormade Japan decided to released the R9 Max irons, featuring similar technologies to the originak R9 iron but with a thicker top line, slightly wider sole, more offset and an overall larger head. Paired with strong lofts and lightweight graphite shafts, the R9 Max is for the mid to higher handicapper. One other note is that the R9 Max has that interesting pearl like satin finish on the face sole and neck, very similar to the finish of the Japan only Burner Forged.

Golf Clubs And Golf Equipment

Sunday, February 27th, 2011

Golf is the game of calming relaxation for most. Without the proper set of clubs it can be a hard game that leads toward nothing but frustration and anything but a relaxing day on the greens. Not every golf course gives you a golf caddy or carts either; this is why it is also important to have a nice bag to hold all your clubs in. Golf equipment can be rather expensive. Sometimes, a golf club can be upwards of one hundred dollars or more! When you consider that there are multiple clubs for different types of swings, a golf bag to keep everything in, club covers, golf shoes, golf balls and the tees, golf quickly becomes an expensive sport.

Being able to purchase even one item on sale makes a world of difference. If golf tees or even golf balls come at a discount, it is worth the money to purchase as many as possible at a lower price so that you won’t have to purchase more later when they are also more expensive. This can really hurt you if you have no choice and need an item immediately. This is especially true if you need to replace a golf club.

The most expensive part of golfing is purchasing your golf clubs. There are many different types of clubs as well as lengths and even right and left handed golf clubs. It is important to purchase the correct type of club so that you can play the best game possible. According to the PGA Tour golf tips, choosing the correct weight of golf club is equally important. This will effect how you swing your clubs. Therefore, having your golf clubs tailored specifically to you will make all the difference in how you play.

If you feel that you could benefit from a new set of clubs or other golfing equipment, be sure to look around for the best price. There are only so many places in Australia to pick up new golf equipment and the best place to look for a great deal is always online. Online stores always have best deals as they don’t have to worry about overhead costs such as paying for a store front and paying numerous employees to help customers and ring up sales. This saves money for both the supplier and the buyer.

No matter what sort of golf equipment you are looking for, there is a place that you can the items you need at a discount. Just because you are looking for quality doesn’t mean that you have to spend a lot of money for it. Not only is that unreasonable, but can be quite costly. Searching for the things that you want that are the best quality is really in your best interest. You should never have to suffer quality items because of the price you pay for them. This is not helpful to anyone and can actually be a hindrance in most cases for many people. Especially when you want to be on the greens instead of looking up new clubs on the computer.

Buy The Simple Golf Swing

Sunday, February 27th, 2011

(Buy The Simple Golf Swing)I read the Simple Swing information twice earlier than I started training the drills. The drills and instructions are nicely structured and the main points are defined step-by-step with photos. I discovered two illustrations arduous to know and it took me a while to understand it properly.

For 2 weeks I spent 15 minutes doing the drills at house after I returned from work in the evening. After three days I bought used to the setup place and the downswing. The again swing nonetheless felt a little uncommon, as I didn’t transfer the physique around my spine before.

After another three days I went out to the driving range to see first results. The primary 5 shots with a 7 iron didn’t fly at all. I rapidly checked the fix points – that are effectively defined in the guide – and discovered that my grip was wrong. After correcting the grip and adjusting the size of the again swing I began to hit them straight consistently. It feels fairly simple and you retain a greater management using a 3-quarter backswing.

The Simple Golf Swing is a strong golf swing method which may be simply realized and offers good results. It’s important that you do the training drills no less than 15 minutes three-times every week for the primary 2-three weeks to get the new actions automated and to train your muscle memory. When you simply learn the Easy Golf Swing e-e book as soon as and hope for higher results without apply you’ll gain nothing from it.

Fix a Slice

Sunday, February 27th, 2011

Do you know that one of the most typical matters golf players encounter is slicing the golf ball? Shooting the ball straight with the long shots tend to be tougher compared to striking fine bunker shot or even knocking in a 20 feet putt. The main reason it’s such a frequent concern among golfers all over the world is resulting from how many things contribute to a slice and just how a lot of golfers do not really know what all those things are, let alone ways to correct them. I will give you a few guidelines below to fix a slice if you have one, that could certainly knock some strokes off from your score.

1) Be sure that your golfing grip is not too weak. Weak grip on the club is one of the most common causes for a slice, and sometimes all it takes to correct a slice will be to improve your golfing grip the right way. Weak grips are often once the left hand (for right handed golfers) is turned excessively at the left foot so that the knuckles can barely been seen. If you slice the ball then try adjusting your left hand to enable you to view a few of your knuckles for that hand. You also can try flipping your right hand exactly the same direction (towards your back foot) to produce a more powerful grip.

2) Close your foot position when you are slicing the ball. This indicates relocating your front foot right up slightly at the ball so that you are feet are aligned slightly right of the target but your clubface is lined directly at the target. This can create a right-to-left turning which may balanced out the slice spin.

3) Try swinging the club in an “inside to outside” manner so as to put draw spin on the golf ball. To put it differently, get the club a bit more inside on your backswing as well as ensuring to maintain your leading arm in a straight line, and then swing outside on the follow-thru as if you’re aiming to smack the ball somewhat right of your target. This kind of motion may counteract just about any slice movement (occasionally brought on by an “outside-to-inside” swing action).

Why Mizuno MP 58 irons Is Unique

Saturday, February 26th, 2011

The new MP-58 irons were designed to combine the forgiveness of a full cavity back with the workability, feel and compact size of a classic muscleback.

This unique design enhances perimeter weighting while maintaining the feel normally associated with our forged blades. The outcome is an iron with the playability of a blade and enhanced forgiveness.

Like all Mizuno forgings, the MP-58 are Grain Flow Forged from “Pure Select” carbon steel. Here, however, 11 grams of titanium is pressed into the head to create an outer muscle that significantly improves forgiveness on off-center hits. In other words, these slick-looking irons are designed to provide the feel and playability of traditional Mizuno blades with added game-enhancing characteristics. The pleasing impact sound is the result of Mizuno’s “modal analysis” technology.

What Do You Think of Taylormade R9 SuperDeep TP Drivers

Saturday, February 26th, 2011

I have an R9 420cc and using a Diamana Blueboard shaft (bought separatly from the Motore shaft fitted as standard). This is a great club long and straight in the N position.

For the Americans, the meeting of Phil Mickelson and Rickie Fowler for the right to a place in the last 16 is also widely anticipated. Will the maestro show his young pretender the door or will the former motocrosser grind the former World No.2 into the desert dirt?

I have had several Taylormade drivers in the past going right back to the times when the club head was as small as your fist. The TaylorMade R9 SuperDeep TP Driver is a pure player’s driver. It has a 460cc head with an ultra-deep clubface, creating a lower moment of inertia and forward center of gravity for increased workability.

So What does the TP really mean? More or less the TP version is just  a model that is made to suite the eye and game of the better player. So, if you are not an 8 handicap or less, just stick to one of the other R9’s. Always remember that  just because the Pro’s play it, doesn’t mean its a good club for you. Don’t let your ego get the best of you when it comes to choosing a driver.  It Will get the best of you.

Taylormade Rescue Hibrid 2009 is a throwback

Saturday, February 26th, 2011

To be frank, the Taylormade Rescue hybrid is a throwback in a way as the clubhead size is similar to the original Rescue Mid as opposed to the over-sized hybrids being put on the market today. The Rescue 2009 boasts a “two-tiered, monochromatic crown and silver clubface” which is huge improvement in my opinion over the Rescue Mid’s appearance.

I purchased one of these the day they came out. It is so cool to move the face around and see exactly how it performs. It took the place of my Adams pro gold rather quickly.

The sole has been redesigned and has recessed areas in the toe and heel to lessen turf interaction and reduce twisting or slowing down clubhead speed. Any time you have less of chance to chunk one is a good bit of design.

Right away, you notice that the new Taylormade Rescue hybrid’s clubhead is much more compact. This was made to make it easier to use in trouble spots such as deep rough. We will find that out when the testing starts but our first impressions are quite good. The last two versions of the Rescue have been a major disappointment to this reviewer because I felt as though they were more like fairway woods and less like hybrids.

A Cup Captain of the Future

Friday, February 25th, 2011

Europe’s grip on the head-to-head format of the game was further strengthened when it dominated the first round of the WGC Accenture Matchplay at Dove Mountain in the Arizona Desert.

Following their regaining of the Ryder Cup, the European Tour’s finest proved an immovable barrier, with Dane Thomas Bjorn – a Cup captain of the future – securing the biggest scalp, that of World No.3 Tiger Woods at the first extra hole.

Sadly Ian Poulter, the holder, who was two up with four to play, went out to former Open champion Stewart Cink. Other Ryder Cup team winners included Graeme McDowell, Luke Donald and Rory McIlroy. McDowell beat Heath Slocum at the 15th, Donald disposed of Charley Hoffman 6&5, while McIlroy was a 4&2 winner over Jonathan Byrd.

Paul Casey, runnerup to Poulter last year, took 19 holes to get past Aussie RIchard Green and Ross Fisher ousted Robert Allenby 4&3. Another key win was by Justin Rose over Zack Johnson and teenager Matteo Manassero’s defeat of Steve Stricker – a former winner of this event.

Among the disappointments – Anders Hansen’s topsy turvey defeat by Matt Kuchar at the fourth extra hole when he missed a string of short putts to put his opponent away and the surprise loss by Dubai Desert  Classic winner Alvaro Quiros at the hands of YE Yang of Korea.

In addition, in my spare time I often playing the golf on the pitch. Here, I will recommend this Mizuno golf clus. Following are the features of Mizuno JPX E600 Iron:

1. The large clubhead and deeper box structure makes the broad sweet area of the shaft, forged by soft iron, possible .

2. The balance weight design, by adopting tungsten steel alloy in the middle of its bottom, realizes the much lower center of gravity and higher MOI(moment of inertia).

3. Restrain the sway by hitting, bring forceful flight and extend the flight distance

It’s starting to be the exception rather than the rule to see a golf enthusiast lugging a trolley or carrying nowadays.
