Using finite element analysis (FEA) driven by a Cray Supercomputer, Ping engineers optimized the Ping G10 driver's crown, sole and face structure interaction to ensure maximum energy transfer to the ball. The 460cc driver features a larger profile with a taller face and deeper crown that produces a higher MOI (moment of inertia) for greater forgiveness and increased ball velocity.

 

Thinner crown and face designs of G10 Driver provided discretionary weight which is positioned inside the club head to lower the CG (center of gravity) for reduced spin and higher launch.

  The irons are for accuracy but the driver is to get you "out there". I'm playing to a 10.2 handicap index right now and swinging easier than any time before, but with good tempo.

  If you haven't hit the Ping G10 driver, I urge you to at least hit it. With a factory-installed shaft, it is probably as forgiving as the Burner and looks more like a player's club.

  G10 driver is the best driver I have ever hit. Forgiving and tons of distance. I have a regular, 9.0 degree G 10. My swing speed is about 100 mph and I hit it 280 to 300 right down the middle every time.

  The ping g10 driver is nice and mostly easly to control. I find its almost impossible to hit a bad shot for the most part. I got the 9 degree . The big problem I have with it is distance. No matter how I hit it, no matter how much power I put into the shot, its not going past 280 on the roll.

  I love the traditional look of this driver. Well...traditional by todays standards! It is very long. Probably due to the slightly longer shaft. I was fitted with the PING G10 Driver. Very good distance on off center hits and it stays on line!!!

  The G10 driver is the longest I have ever played. I have played other drivers and this one tops them all. Not only am I more accurate with it but long as well. I would get about 240 carry with my Adams but now I've added 20 yards and what a difference it makes playing short irons into the green vs mid irons. If you want to improve your distance and accuracy I would highly recommend putting one of these in your bag.

  This is a very good product and would be an excellent value as an aftermarket purchase. The G10 is easy to hit and very well designed. The head cover is of rather poor quality, but that's not too big of a deal.

  The Ping G10 Driver is an excellent driver for controlling miss hits. Not the longest driver but may keep your ball playable.
